Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Binghamton, New York
Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Binghamton, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for liaising with contractors to ensure work orders are completed efficiently. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Handle customer inquiries and issues, providing fast, friendly, and accurate information.
• Liaise with HVAC contractors, setting them up for jobs when no contractors are assigned to specific orders.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of our services to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
• Provide accurate information regarding the availability of in-stock items, product, and delivery information.
• Process submitted orders, requests for quotations, and assign tickets using designated software.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment that welcomes others.
• Adhere to company's culture related to respect for the individual, service to our customers, and striving for excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
• Customer Service Requirements • Prior experience in a customer service role within the Real Estate & Property industry is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to handling queries and resolving issues.
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant computer applications.
• High level of professionalism, patience, and understanding when dealing with clients.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of real estate terminology and processes would be advantageous.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts or extended hours if required.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is necessary.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills would be a plus.
