Core Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, mentor, and empower the Experience Design team, enhancing their skills in creative strategy and delivery.
Collaborate with key partners to prioritize projects, ensuring alignment with LEGO Group and Merlin Partnership strategic priorities.
Plan and prioritize projects, advancing the most valuable initiatives.
Partner with the Senior Design Director and leadership team to enhance tactical alignment and contribute to the long-term vision of the partnership.
Maintain an overview of activities, identifying dependencies, impediments, and risks.
Ensure strategic alignment and advancement of projects with the Strategy Director and Merlin Partnership Leadership Team.
Champion best practices and agile methodologies for project delivery.
Continuously improve processes, tools, and capabilities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

The Merlin Partnership is vital for fostering a positive relationship between The LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments, supporting LEGO's mission to nurture future builders through strategic partnerships and connections!
In this role, you will ensure the strategic delivery of initiatives across all LEGO-branded attractions and experiences in alignment with the objectives of both The LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments. You will also lead the Merlin Partnership Experience Delivery Design team.
Do you have what it takes?
5+ years of experience in design, creative, or delivery management, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the entertainment, hospitality, or related industry.
Proven track record in a senior creative management role, successfully delivering complex projects in a partnership or multi-stakeholder environment.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects across multiple business units or organizations.
Proven ability to establish and maintain trust across complex partner sets and company cultures.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams towards a common goal.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with partners at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
Strategic problem solver with attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
Adaptable and self-motivated, comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in project management practices.
Able to travel approximately 30 days per year.
