Job Description

Core Responsibilities
Facilitate end-to-end planning, decision making and strategic alignment of the portfolio of technology components in LEGO products – both development and industrialization of hardware, software and firmware
Build clarity for executive stakeholders on the progress, risks and cost of the portfolio of technology components
Establish clear decision criteria, decision process, and business case standards for portfolio decision making through each stage of development – elevating our focus on value of technology investments, resource trade-offs and industrialization
Own and develop the end-to-end Tech Development Process – to provide the foundation for effective, reliable and risk managed outcomes
Own the IT and documentation management tools needed to support Portfolio decision making and Tech Development Process
Establish key metrics to measure the end-to-end efficiency of decision-making and of the development process
Work in partnership with leadership accountable for delivery across product development, manufacturing, quality and procurement – to provide effective governance of the portfolio and process for development
Lead a small team of portfolio and process specialists as part of a Portfolio Management team leading management of the full product portfolio of the LEGO Group

You will join the Portfolio Management team, who is responsible for planning and executive decision making of the full LEGO product portfolio – from early conceptualisation to launch – balancing strategic and commercial objectives, capacity constraints, cost drivers and portfolio risks.
The Technology Portfolio Management Office, is a small team – within the Portfolio Management team - dedicated to and specialized in technology components, providing governance and process to teams across the value chain involved in technology development and industrialization.
Do you have what it takes?
Extensive proven experience working with electronics hardware, firmware, and software development at scale
5+ years of leadership experience
Excellent skills in managing executive stakeholders, decision making and communication
Extensive experience in development process management, governance and documentation management
Tight-knit collaboration skills - working with both functional guides and senior partners across the business
Ability to navigate in a creative innovation environment, and create order out of chaos
Financially savvy individual with solid experience in business case creation and tracking
Self-leading individual who takes initiative, and recognizes and acts on opportunities
