Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy for all Grown Ups’ owned platforms globally,maintainingpositive brandperceptionand ensuring a high-quality user experience that makes communities feel recognized and valued

  • Collaborate closely with the internal partners (product team, business owners, marketing,contentand editorial team) to support strategic priorities and ensure engaging experiences and a robust set up across all existing and new platforms

  • Establish clear community engagement guidelines and toolkits tailored to each platform and audience type (considering business needs, digitalsafetyand moderation requirements), and conduct regular audits and hands-on review of our communities toidentifyoptimization opportunities, improve efficiency, and mitigate risks

  • Advocate for user and business needs to internal collaborators, providing regular reporting and insights on the impact of realized engagements, user sentiment, and potential difficulties

  • Develop and implement strategies to address community issues and crises optimally,maintainingtrust and visibility throughout the process

Reporting to the Sr. Manager for Grown Ups’ Community Management, theCommunity Strategy & Engagement Managerplay a pivotal role in helping elevate our community support through exciting growth and transformation,closely linkedto our mission to build direct and lasting relationships with grown-up fans and creators!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a complex, global organization where you have gained in-depth understanding of digital communities' engagement and management with a consistent record of driving the diversity and inclusion agenda

  • Familiarity with community organizing principles and practices along with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in digital spaces - collaborating with key partners to effectively manage and mitigate crisis communications and issues management scenarios

  • Solid understanding of different audience needs and relevant safety considerations, including child safety laws and ethical considerations

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - capable of working across multiple levels, time zones, and global locations

  • Strong strategic, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
