Day in the Life of a Product Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our extraordinary team as Product Manager for the Fluke Biomedical portfolio. As the Product Manager for our Biomedical portfolio, you will take ownership of a key piece of our fast-paced business as you lead us into the future.

You will focus on delivering meaningful innovation by understanding the needs of customers, building cross-functional relationships, and collaborating with sales, operations, marketing, and R&D teams around the world to bring solutions to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities to gather VoC and competitive/market intelligence to understand the needs of customers and inform roadmap strategies and priorities.

• Create compelling value propositions and financial models, based on sound business rationale, to support new product development funding and articulate return on investment.

• Manage a prioritized list of ideas and products, make recommendations, and support the internal promotion of new product innovation.

• Effectively use and interpret qualitative and quantitative research to identify key industry trends.

• Deliver innovative solutions by proactively seeking out and welcoming input from others.

• Have a continuous improvement mindset, be open to doing things differently, while delivering short- and long-term results

• Represent our customers and stakeholders in the new product development process and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver results.

• Leverage core competencies and the strategic assets of the organization to maximize new product development and launch planning.

• Own the product lifecycle management (PLCM) plan as it relates to the overall portfolio business and launch strategy including developing a pricing strategy to support new product launch success.

• Assist in the development of new marketing tools and training materials to support new product launch success.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or Engineering, or equivalent field of study.

• 4+ years of marketing and/or product management experience within a B2B technical environment, or equivalent.

• Proven track record of driving revenue growth through commercialization of products.

• Experience working in B2B environments with exposure to large-scale projects and cross-functional involvement in a variety of areas.

• Knowledgeable of the biomedical testing, healthcare and radiation safety industry is a plus.

• Qualitative and quantitative market research skills.

• Strong presentation abilities, with experience presenting to a wide range of audiences including corporate executives, customers, and partners.

• Validated experience in leading daring product planning strategies and listening and applying customer insight to identify growth opportunities for the company.

• Ability to travel 40% of time, domestic and international.
