CAYUSE LIVESTOCK CO General Farmworker in BIG TIMBER, Montana
Temporary full time from 2/7/2025 - 9/30/2025 Perform general farm and ranch duties; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as stacking; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate flood irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to spray, weed and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Attend to live farm animals including cattle such as calving, branding, AI, marketing, weaning, rotating; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Speak and understand english. Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
