While prior experience in hospitality is a plus, it is not a requirement for this role. The project is located in Big Sur, CA, and the candidate will be required to be on-site 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:

Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and hotel operations teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution of renovation tasks.
Perform regular site inspections to ensure the quality of work, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to the project timeline. Document and resolve any issues that arise.
Assist in the management of the project budget and timeline, including preparing reports and tracking expenditures. Help mitigate risks related to cost overruns and delays.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the hotel client regarding project status, issues, and any change orders. Maintain open communication to ensure client satisfaction.
Identify potential risks to the project timeline and budget and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Prepare regular progress reports, meeting notes, and documentation for project stakeholders and the client.
Provide support to the project team, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently, and work is completed in alignment with the project’s goals.
Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in a construction project management role.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, hotel renovation processes, and building systems integration.
Previous experience with hotel renovation projects is a plus, but not essential.
Ability to manage multiple teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and lead meetings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Willingness and ability to be on-site 5 days a week at the Big Sur location.
The position requires a hands-on approach to project management, with a focus on site coordination and MEP systems.
A background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is essential to ensure proper implementation of technical requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile hotel renovation project and gain experience in the hospitality industry.
