Summary of Position:
• The School of Education seeks applications for an Assistant Professor to teach foundational and methodological courses in elementary, secondary, and/or early childhood education. • Duties will include attending department meetings, advising early childhood, elementary and secondary education students, and participating in accreditation process, etc. • Teaching on-campus and off-campus courses, face-to-face, synchronous and asynchronous online courses will be based on department need. • Courses are to be taught in person on Ferris State University's Main Campus. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment • The start date of this position is August 2025.

• Ed. D. or Ph.D. in education or closely related field completed by Aug. 1, 2025. • Minimum of 18 credits in elementary, secondary, or early childhood education at a master's level or higher.
