TIG Welder ($30+/hr)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to build custom parts and perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless or mild steel (11 gauge or 16 gauge). This role requires constant movement and attention to detail, as well as the ability to grind out welds. Candidates should be prepared to follow company procedures and assist in other areas when needed. This is not a sit-down welding job and requires producing high-quality welds using a Miller weld machine with a foot pedal. Some parts may be very small.
Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless or mild steel (11 gauge or 16 gauge)
Constantly move around the shop to perform welding tasks
Grind out welds as needed
Produce high-quality welds with attention to detail
Follow company procedures
Assist in other areas during slow periods
Use a Miller weld machine with a foot pedal
Work Environment
The shop is large and includes different sections such as a paint line, carpentry/wood shop, metal shop with welding booths, a finishing department, and a CNC department
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00
