What you will do:
Operator removes the rug from the conveyor and does one of the following:
place the rug into cage, or on pallets or in boxes and run through tape machines.
Calibrate the Metal detector at the start of each shift using the 9-point method.
Lifts, carries, and loads boxes of Tipper Tie clips.
Lifts rolls of plastic bags (weighing 60lbs max.) onto racking system.
Adjust cutters to trim excess jute off from the edge of rugsand starts border machine to
begin the process of putting borders on the path of rugs.
Re-threads border machine when thread breaks and may tie knots.
Visually inspects rugs for any imperfections.
Using a heat gun,all four corners of the rug, removing excess yarn,and fold under the very end of yarn to the back of the rug.
Uses air hose to blow yarn remnants out of heat gun.
Sweeps and cleans creel and loom area.
Cleans surrounding areas.
Cut rugs to finished length.
