ReSound Inside Sales Account Manager in Bicester, United Kingdom

As our Inside Sales Account Manager, you support our sales processes and help promote and sell our hearing care products to our customers ranging from audiologists, dispensers, and other hearing healthcare professionals.

The team you will be part of

At our office located in Bicester, Talisman, in the UK, you are part of our Inside Sales UK team, which is characterized by being supportive, inclusive, and having fun.

You will report to the Head of Sales Operations and Inside Sales North Europe, Michelle Dickinson.

Your primary responsibility is supporting our sales activity within your allocated accounts, looking after existing customers, identifying new opportunities (leads) from other teams - such as Marketing - and developing relationships with all key stakeholders for your respective accounts.

In addition, you will collaborate especially with our Field Sales Teams, Training Team and Customer Care Team to maximize and deliver on lead conversion, progressing opportunities for either direct sales over the phone or handover to other teams to progress to closure.

Your contribution is highly appreciated – and your responsibilities are:

Sales performance and customer satisfaction

  • Accountable for achieving revenue sales targets as set out in KPIs, reviewed on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Implement agreed sales processes per channel to build customer count and develop long-standing customer relationships, both existing and new.

  • Support growth across allocated channels, resolve issues, improve profitability (incl. reduce return for credit rates).

  • Work effectively with the Customer Service team to resolve barriers to development of customer relationship, such as remake and repair issues, delivery times; and

  • Accountable for achieving target NPS score as set out in KPIs.

Sales delivery

  • Work effectively with the planned sales process and coordination across the sales and training teams.

  • Cross departmental collaboration to develop clear weekly and monthly sales activity, including phone calls, administration and coordinated follow up activities.

  • Close monitoring of customer performance and sales trends on a weekly/monthly basis and update of territory business plan to bring underperforming customers back on track.

  • Feedback to the team and cross departmentally on new competitive information from across the industry, including product, pricing, FSAs, mergers, and acquisitions.

  • Occasional attendance of trade shows, conventions, training seminars, and other functions as needed.

  • Ensuring SFDC is up to date with all customers, products, competitors and market information.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • A higher education background within management, marketing, economics, or other relevant field of study.

  • Relevant B2C or B2B sales experience -preferably with Medical Devices. Alternatively, you may have relevant successful sales performance with telephone sales or perhaps you have significant customer service experience from the hearing aid/audiology sector.

  • Strong computing skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, CRM (preferably Salesforce) and ERP (preferably D365 or Navision);

  • Proven ability to learn new technical knowledge quickly

  • Structured in analysis, planning, working methodology and documentation.

  • Demonstrable efficiency in follow-up with customers and absolute accountability for delivery

  • The ability to communicate fluently in English in speech and in writing. Dutch or French preferred but not essential.

At a personal level, you are customer focused, able to listen and challenge constructively with a positive attitude, whereby you can establish and developing good customer relationships for the long term. You have a will for driving results independently and in collaboration with your colleagues and customers. In addition, you can navigate in a global, dynamic and fast-pace environment.
