About the role: The Apprentice Carpenter will be provided with the necessary technical skills to launch a rewarding career in construction. While the Apprentice Carpenter may have limited construction experience, the candidate is expected to know how to manipulate power and hand tools. You will work under the supervision of an experienced carpenter, assisting them in their duties while you train and gain a better understanding of your trade. Key responsibilities of the role: \ Assist in the completion of different building and remodeling projects \Support the carpenters in all demolition, repair, construction, and maintenance works \Select tools, equipment, and/or materials from storage and transport items to job site \Setup, maintain, and breakdown job sites for your supervising carpenter \Ensure safety and preventive maintenance programs, policies and procedures are being followed \Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and efficient job site \Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: \1-2 years of apprentice carpentry experience \Solid measuring skills and math aptitude \Familiarity with common power and hand tools \Professional communication skills and ability to discuss project details with clients and leadership \Accustomed to extreme weather conditions \Comfortable and able to complete heavy lifting, and rigorous tasks \Ability to work independently \Possess a positive work ethic Other Requirements: \Valid driver\'s license, reliable transportation, and solid driving record \Willingness to undergo background checks \Eligible to work in the U.S. Benefits of joining our team: \Develop your skills under the direction of an experienced carpenter \Competitive compensation \Benefits package offers medical, dental, and disability insurances \Paid time off \401(k) Plan with an employer match
