Description We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Beverly Hills, California. This role is critical in our Real Estate industry, where you will be responsible for assisting with multi-state tax filings, primarily focusing on trust and individual returns. This includes using your knowledge of various accounting software systems and ERP solutions to ensure the accuracy of our financial statements. This job offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with multi-state tax filings, covering approximately 25 states.
• Specialize in trust and individual tax returns.
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to perform accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure their accuracy.
• Utilize ADP for financial services tasks.
• Use CCH Sales Tax and CCH ProSystem Fx for specific tax-related tasks.
• Assist with auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) duties as necessary.
• Use your expertise in income tax return to assist our clients. Requirements
• Must hold a position of Sr. Tax Accountant or equivalent for at least 7 years
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax
• Proficient in Accounting Functions
• Compliance knowledge is required
• Experience in preparing Income Tax Return
• Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx
• Experience in preparing Trust Tax Returns
