Aluminum MIG Welder
Allentown, PA
*$20 to $24 per hour *
Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES of a Welder
- Aluminum MIG welding and final assembly of aluminum components
- Cleaning and repairing welds as needed.
- Quality inspection of completed parts to insure compliance to internal specifications.
- Works safely.
- Keeps work areas and equipment clean and organized.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Maintains a high attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Reliability is key.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS for a Welder
- Thin-wall (0.60" - 0.90") aluminum MIG welding experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One-year experience in AL MIG welding or the successful MIG Aluminum training from a certified/qualified instructor.
- Able to Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings.
- Ability to periodically lift items up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to identify materials by size and use measuring devices such as measuring tape, calipers, micrometers and square.
- Welds must conform to welding specifications.
- Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
- Support company's zero-defect policy to insure customer satisfaction.
- Follows established safety practices including OSHA standards applicable to the job.
