Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audit coordination, cash flow management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance within our organization. This role does not offer the potential to transition into another type of employment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and oversee the production of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Coordinate external audits, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any findings.
• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, optimizing liquidity and working capital.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and detail oriented growth.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial laws, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Billing Functions, NetSuite, General Ledger, Financial Statement, Journal Entries as needed in the execution of responsibilities. Requirements • Proficient in utilizing Accounting Software Systems for financial tasks and operations
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and human resource management
• Proficient in using ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management
• Experience with ERP Solutions for streamlining and integrating business functions
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting and business management
• Proficient in performing various Accounting Functions such as budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost accounting
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment processing
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks such as billing, collections, and revenue recognition
• Experience in Auditing for ensuring the accuracy and legality of financial records
• Proficient in handling Billing Functions, including invoice creation, payment tracking, and account reconciliation
• Knowledge of NetSuite for managing business finances, operations, and customer relations
• Proficient in managing General Ledger tasks like tracking financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining balance sheets
• Experience in preparing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Proficient in recording Journal Entries for tracking business transactions.
