Lifeguard - Bethel, AK
Part-time, 12 hours/wk
HealthFitness is looking for part time Lifeguards to join the aqatics team at The Yukon Kuskokwim Fitness Center in Bethel, AK. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons, observing, and enforcing rules and regulations.
What you'll be doing
Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency.
Perform chemical testing and documents results.
Assist with special programs.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
What you'll need to have
Must be at least 15 years old.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
