Robert Half Technical Accounting Manager in Berwyn, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Technical Accounting Manager to join our team in BERWYN, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial reporting and accounting processes in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of internal and external reporting and related supporting schedules.

• Perform technical accounting research and analysis on a variety of accounting and financial reporting topics.

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

• Collaborate with external auditors to address accounting-related queries and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

• Develop and maintain consolidation procedures, methodologies, and templates.

• Monitor new US GAAP and SEC releases and lead the implementation as applicable to the company.

• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve the financial reporting and consolidation processes.

• Review and explain balance sheet and income statement fluctuations.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary.

• Consolidate financial information within the organization for accurate reporting. Requirements • Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Demonstrated ability in managing Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing processes and standards

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Proficiency in using Workiva

• Experience with NetSuite

• Previous work in Public Accounting

• Ability to interpret and apply accounting principles and procedures

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field

• Professional accounting certification, such as CPA, is preferred but not required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding accounting, finances, and taxation.
