Are you ready to play a vital role in our manufacturing process by operating forming machinery? We're looking for skilled Forming Operators to ensure smooth operations and maintain quality standards. Here's what you need to know:
As a Forming Operator, your primary responsibility is to operate forming machinery efficiently, perform basic maintenance, and make mechanical changes as required. You'll ensure that products meet quality standards and are ready for the next stage of production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate forming machinery to process products, including cutting, deburring, sanding, cleaning, and packaging.
Follow Process Instructions to maintain process and quality standards.
Load and unload mold forming fixtures and parts with assistance from Material Handlers and forklifts.
Utilize tools such as routers and band saws for trimming parts.
Maintain a clean workstation and perform general maintenance tasks.
Use precision measuring tools like calipers, height gauges, and micrometers accurately.
Record production information for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:
Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.
Basic computer skills for data entry.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
Experience in a manufacturing or production setting preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Involves frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and balancing.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Climbing in and out of machinery pits for repairs or adjustments.
Utilization of eye-hand coordination and verbal communication.
Visual capacity enabling operation of machinery.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
