About the team

Our team, SAP Labs Berlin enables customer, ecosystem and internal community engagements for the Berlin Brandenburg region. We work in small teams, leverage each others diverse professional and cultural backgrounds, and always strive for operational excellence and best run processes.

The SAP Data Space is one of SAP's three locations, right in the heart of Berlin and serves as an experience space where customers, partners, innovators, change-makers, startups, artists, and digital transformation enthusiasts come together to meet, work, and dine in a highly professional and innovative environment. Managed by the SAP Labs Berlin team, we strive for end-to-end operational excellence and an exceptional experience.

As Project and Business Operations Support Intern for the SAP DATA SPACE, you will provide administrative support to maximize operational efficiencies in event and project management. You will contribute by ensuring the successful E2E execution of various event formats (e.g. customer meetings, workshops, panel discussions, networking events, innovation tours, meetups etc.) and providing project management support for the further development of the SAP DATA SPACE.

What youll do:

Position title: Intern (f/m/d) (6 months): Project and Business Operations Support for the SAP Data Space in Berlin

Work Area: Corporate Operations

Location: Berlin

Expected start date: January 2025

In this role, youll:

Your specific tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Handle stakeholder management with the on-site external operator team, facilitators, and technicians to maintain the location's functionality.

  • Provide administrative on-site support, including event operations, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Support general project structures, including preparing workshops, providing status reports, creating templates, monitoring task fulfillment, scheduling appointments, and preparing reporting documents.

  • Monitor financial items such as purchase orders, internal orders, invoices, and payments.

  • Create impactful PowerPoint presentations for top managers

  • Manage calendars, emails, and correspondence (both internal and external).

  • Assist with the design, rollout, and implementation of new processes.

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Enrolled as a student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences.

  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Project Management, or similar.

  • Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, MS Teams).

  • Experience with project management tools is a plus.

  • Language skills: Proficiency in both English and German is required.

  • Highly flexible, able to work and thrive in a rapidly changing environment, and comfortable handling uncertainty and frequent changes.

  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

  • A results-driven individual who executes tasks effectively, demonstrating positivity, reliability, and encouragement.

  • Even in challenging situations, capable of maintaining focus, exhibiting a calm and well-organized personality, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Note: This is a 100% on-site role in Berlin.
