<p>CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) is a rapidly growing digital freight forwarding start-up within Wayfair, moving containers across the globe to Wayfair’s shelves and elsewhere. We offer a full suite of shipping services (Asia consolidation, ocean freight, drayage, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, etc.) that aims to provide Wayfair suppliers with competitive and convenient logistics solutions. Our proprietary end-to-end logistics network enables us to drive speed, quality and lower costs.</p>

<p>Operating within a dynamic team, you will actively collaborate with cross functional partners, including Product Carriers, Sales and Service, utilising a combination of your project management, persuasive communication, problem solving, technical and analytical skills</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Coordinate the movement of containers for the EU market (Germany, France, Poland, and the Netherlands)</li>

<li>Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing and negotiating with vendors</li>

<li>Maintain tables and create visualisation tools for procurement rates for our internal teams</li>

<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency</li>

<li>Monitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and product improvement</li>

<li>Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partners</li>

<li>Design and implement operating models that will drive the future improvements of our operation.</li>

<li>In partnership with technology &amp; business intelligence teams, drive a diverse roadmap of tech initiatives aimed at building the foundation of this supply chain solutions business for future scale</li>

<li>Manage and analyse tender submissions working closely with Sales, Service and our Logistics partners</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>What You’ll Have</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Demonstrable experience successfully operating within a finance, procurement, logistics, or supply chain environment</li>

<li>English and German (B2 minimum) language fluency, both verbal and written communication skills</li>

<li>Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and identify the root cause of a problem and clearly translate to the relevant parties enabling a quick solution</li>

<li>Engaging communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect, influence and negotiate with vendors.&nbsp;</li>

<li>High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively</li>

<li>Strong IT system and application knowledge (Microsoft Office, Google Suite- especially Excel).&nbsp;</li>

<li>Confidence in writing GBQ queries and creating basic dashboards on DataStudio</li>

</ul>
