<p>CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) is an emerging digital freight forwarding startup under Wayfair, facilitating the global movement of containers to Wayfair's inventory and beyond. We provide a comprehensive range of shipping services, including Asia consolidation, ocean freight, drayage, customs brokerage, and cargo insurance, designed to deliver competitive and convenient logistics solutions for Wayfair suppliers. Our unique end-to-end logistics network enhances speed, quality, and cost efficiency.</p>

<p>Operating within a dynamic team, you will engage with various cross-functional partners such as Product Carriers, Sales, and Service. This role will leverage your project management, persuasive communication, problem-solving, technical, and analytical abilities.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Oversee the logistics of container movements for the European market, specifically targeting Germany, France, Poland, and the Netherlands.</li>

<li>Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing and negotiating with vendors</li>

<li>Create and maintain data tables and visualization tools to track procurement rates for internal stakeholders.</li>

<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and boost operational efficiency.</li>

<li>Monitor and analyse market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and areas for product enhancement.</li>

<li>Build and nurture strong relationships with vendor partners.</li>

<li>Design and implement operating models that will drive the future improvements of our operation.</li>

<li>Collaborate with technology and business intelligence teams to implement a diverse range of tech initiatives that will establish a solid foundation for our supply chain solutions business as it scales.</li>

<li>Manage and evaluate tender submissions in close cooperation with Sales, Service, and Logistics partners.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>What You’ll Have</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Demonstrable experience successfully operating within a finance, procurement, logistics, or supply chain environment</li>

<li>English and German (B2 minimum) language fluency, both verbal and written communication skills</li>

<li>Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and identify the root cause of a problem and clearly translate to the relevant parties enabling a quick solution</li>

<li>Engaging communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect, influence and negotiate with vendors.&nbsp;</li>

<li>High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively</li>

<li>Strong IT system and application knowledge (Microsoft Office, Google Suite- especially Excel).&nbsp;</li>

<li>Confidence in writing GBQ queries and creating basic dashboards on DataStudio</li>

</ul>
