The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer (Associate or Experienced) located in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for test article configuration control with the opportunity to assist with test planning and execution. The candidate will support a proprietary activity within Boeing Phantom Works. The position will require a Domestic Temporary Assignment (DTA) Las Vegas, Nevada to support test execution.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate or Experienced Test and Evaluation Engineers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assists in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods

  • Develops simple test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk

  • Supports development of test debrief material

  • Participates in evaluation of test performance data

  • Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer

  • Alerts senior engineers of off-nominal data

  • Prepares test reports for review

  • Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Berkeley, MO will be this position's home base. This position requires a Domestic Temporary Assignment (DTA), to Las Vegas NV, for approximately 12-24 months, after clearance requirements are obtained.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in complex test planning, development, and execution

  • 3+ years’ engineering experience in ground and/or flight test environments

  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry

Typical Education/Experience

Associate (Level 2)

Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level 3)

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Associate Level: $75,650 - $102,350

Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $90,950 - $123,050
