The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business unit is currently seeking a Senior F-15 Project Engineer to support F-15 Software Development and Advanced Programs in Berkeley, Missouri: one of our largest, most dynamic sites with a broad business portfolio.
The individual selected for this role will be responsible for coordinating across disciplines to drive project execution for F-15 Domestic activities. This role requires close interaction with Mission Systems, and familiarity with hardware and software development is highly valuable. This role offers visibility to leadership by working closely with program managers and the customer on the subject projects.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources, management, and customers.
Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
Leads project execution to complete the work statement with quality, safety, and on time delivery.
Identifies performance metrics.
Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.
Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.

Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.
Clearance:
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
7 years of technical experience with a Masters OR 9 or more years technical experience with a Bachelor’s degree
Experience with systems architecture, requirements development and test & verification
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Earned Value Management experience
Experience working with SAFE Agile software teams
Experience working on Avionics systems
Experience with fighter aircraft
Typical Education/Experience:
Lead (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:
Level 4: $114,750 – $155,250
