Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Phantom Works Special Programs & Capabilities (PW SP&C) is looking for a Product Data Management Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO .

As a Product Data Management Specialist in SP&C, your primary role will be Data Transfer Agent (DTA). The DTA is responsible for tracking, handling, and transferring data to and from multiple networks. Understanding what constitutes a data or technology transfer and accurately following the appropriate process is critical because these transfers involve risk that needs to be understood and managed.

The Product Data Management Specialist will be trained on the various DTA processes, tools, and use of the Security Classification Guide for the program. As time permits, the selected individual will be trained on other Product Data Management activities including the Phantom Works Technology Database and its processes.

The successful candidate needs to possess a high degree of attention to detail. Experience using Microsoft Office products and Adobe. Must be able to ask the “why” until you get to the root of the request to ensure proper processes are being followed as well as program, customer, and Boeing requirements.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Level Product Data Management Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities to identify and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes

  • Assist with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control

  • Support the monitoring of adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements

  • Support certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes

  • Track, handle, and transfer data to and from multiple networks

  • Ensure the Security Classification Guide is followed

  • Have a high degree of attention to detail

  • Ensure the proper process is being followed as well as program, customer, and Boeing requirements

  • Work general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data for a cross-functional team

  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations

  • (level 3) 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

(Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

(Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (associate, level 2): 63,750 – 86,250

Summary pay range (experienced, level 3): 79,050 – 106,950
