Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is currently searching for an Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineering Manager to join their team in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on leading the EW Team within the F-15 Mission Systems organization. The manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers responsible for the design, development, installation, integration, test and production of several advanced Electronic Warfare and Self-Protection systems. The manager in this role will guide the day-to-day activities of the engineers responsible for development of EPAWSS and DEWS programs, including variants for FMS programs. This team also performs supplier technical oversight and test activities for integrating the latest state of the art Self-Protection solutions on the F-15 platform. The product portfolio mainly consists of the DEWS (F-15SA, F-15QA), CMWS (F-15SA, F-15QA) and EPAWSS (F-15E, F-15EX, FMS) systems . In this role, the manager will have responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance for program and production execution. Additionally, as a Mission Systems Leader, the manager will ensure adequate effective utilization of Technical Lead Engineers, implementation of Design Practices, and execution with Agile Framework.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides technical, programmatic, and process leadership to team members.
Leads, develops, and motivates employees.
Maintains a plan to provide staff and knowledge management required to execute production and development programs.
Monitors team and supplier performance to ensure proper system integration and compliance with requirements.
Ensures the team delivers safe and high-quality program products within cost and schedule.
Coordinates with program management, suppliers, customers, and other Boeing teams.
Supports Best Practices (e.g. Model Based Design, Peer Reviews, Technical Lead Engineers, etc.).
Uses program management best practices including the Earned Value Management (EVM) system as a Cost Account Manager.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in electrical/electronic hardware design
Experience in the design, development, and integration, test and production of Mission Systems
Experience in engineering project planning or project management.
Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in leading engineering teams
Experience in the design, development, and integration, test and production of Electronic Warfare or Self-Protection systems.
Engineering and Missions System Leadership experience on similar subsystems.
Experience with Supplier Management and technical oversight of Suppliers.
Experience with the Program Management Best Practices including the Earned Value Management (EVM) system as a Cost Account Manager.
