Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is hiring for Morning Lead Lifeguard in our Bentonville, AR facility.
Morning Lead Lifeguard, NW Arkansas
Sunday-Thursday schedule working Full-Time with PTO, Holidays and benefits!
As Lead lifeguard, you will report to the Aquatics Director and perform all the critical duties of a lifeguard while taking on additional responsibilities including leadership & facility supervision in the evenings and weekends. The key functions include specialty program coordination, facility supervision, assisting management with program administration, staff training, and certifications. Schedule is up to 40 hours per week: Sunday 6:45am-12:45pm, Monday-Thursday 5:15am-2pm.
What you will do:
Monitor aquatics facilities patrons and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Enforce and explain rules as necessary. Maintain a professional attitude.
Quick handling of all injuries/incidents that occur in the Aquatics Center during shift and completing incident/accident reports. Administer first aid as needed.
Perform chemical testing and document results.
Assist Aquatics Director with the implementation of various programs and initiatives.
Provide lifeguard training, certification and recertification as necessary for the Aquatics Department.
Assist in the onboarding and continued development of the aquatics staff.
Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
Additional duties as needed/assigned.
What's in your swim backpack?
Must be 18 years old & hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification with CPR/AED/First Aid.
Ideal candidate will have guarded in an aquatics facility and have experience in pool water testing and cleaning.
ARC Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) certification required at start or within 1 year of hire.
Certified Pool Operation (CPO) required at start or within 1 year of hire.
Ability tonavigateelectronic onboarding and timecard systems. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
