The team you will be a part of

Whirlpool's Supply Chain Operations team comprises Planning, Customer Fulfillment, Service Parts, and Trade Experience. This organization's key focus is to enable production efficiency and accuracy, activate highly efficient inventory conversion, and consistently provide frictionless service to our customers. The Strategic Project and New Product Launch team, that you would be a part of, supports cross-functional projects, new product launches, and continuous improvement to enable organizational success.

This role in summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Operations Project Manager to join our team. This role is critical in driving strategic supply chain projects, optimizing operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional projects, implement innovative solutions, and ensure supply chain excellence, to meet organizational goals.

Your responsibilities will include

Project Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee supply chain projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and product marketing.

  • Develop detailed project plans, status reports, and presentations for key stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process optimization within supply chain operations and implement methodologies.

  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of improvements and drive sustainable results.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Analyze supply chain performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships with process partners and internal teams to align on project goals and drive supply chain excellence.

  • Act as a liaison between departments to resolve challenges and ensure seamless communication.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, project management, or a related role.

  • Proven expertise in continuous improvement methodologies

  • Proficiency in project management tools

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
