Oracle Systems Analyst 2-IT in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Must have skills:

  • Good understanding of Server virtualization and VDI - Horizon and Citrix.

  • Design, deploy, and manage VMware Horizon infrastructure including Horizon View, Horizon Agent, and Horizon Connection Servers.

  • Develop and implement VDI architecture that meets business needs and performance requirements.

  • Configure and manage virtual desktops, applications, and user environments.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the VDI environment.

  • Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the stability and performance of the virtual desktop infrastructure.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff regarding VDI-related issues.

  • Perform upgrade activities on Horizon, vSphere.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for VDI architecture, configurations, and processes.

  • Prepare and present reports on VDI performance, issues, and resolutions to management.

  • Secure the infrastructure with latest OS patch, drivers & firmware.

  • Develop SOP documents and implement best practices.

  • Support 24x7 On-call and troubleshoot critical events.

  • Perform capacity planning.

Good to have skills:

  • Hands on experience on managing Dell VxRail, Cisco UCS and HP blade servers.

  • Train and mentor junior Engineers on Server Virtualization solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary.
