Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled entry-level System Development (SysDE) Engineer to join our Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) support team. This role will support the integration of Customer Data Platform (CDP) capabilities into our service offering, contributing to our ability to provide data-driven insights and improve advertising performance for our clients.

As an SysDE Engineer I, you will work alongside experienced team members to build and maintain "connectors," assist with support inquiries, and help ensure our systems remain up-to-date and compliant.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Connector Development and Maintenance:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining integration connectors for CDP and Advertiser Data Upload (ADU) systems under guidance.

  • Support the team in ensuring smooth data flow between various platforms and APIs.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Handle basic to intermediate support inquiries related to ADU and CDP uploads.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of support documentation.

API Familiarization:

  • Learn and gain practical experience with Ads Data Manager (ADM) APIs.

  • Assist in implementing and testing data flow validation processes.

Partner and Customer Support:

  • Provide first-level support for partner-driven uploads and general data upload queries.

  • Contribute to improving customer experience in data integration and management.

System Maintenance:

  • Assist in monitoring and implementing minor changes to keep integration connectors up-to-date.

  • Participate in system updates and migrations under supervision.

Automation and Tool Development:

  • Contribute to the development of tools and scripts for automating routine operational tasks.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement through automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Min 2 years of professional software development experience (including internships).

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or Ruby.

  • Basic understanding of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking and operating systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
