Google Staff Software Engineer, Enterprise Network in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.

  • 8 years of experience with design, architecture, and testing/launching software products.

  • Experience building and developing infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, or with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

  • Experience working in the networking domain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

  • Write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems, conduct testing beyond unit testing (e.g., integration, performance, stress, security, load), design code to allow for easy testing, and write test cases.

  • Establish coding and test automation standards, review other engineers’ code, and provide feedback to ensure best practices.

  • Design, develop, deploy, test, maintain, and enhance software solutions used in the release process.

  • Develop the mid-term technical roadmap within the scope of the team, and oversee execution.

  • Participate and lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies.
