Job Description Summary

As a member of the Supply Chain -Indirect sourcing team, the Sr Staff -Technical Product Manager -Indirect Sourcing is responsible for migration a full functioning Oracle EBS and associated applications from Corporate Azure environment to Aerospace specific azure environment that will support the separation of GE Aerospace into an independent, investor-grade company. This role will be responsible for end to end project management during the migration and will coordinate with all involved support teams and stakeholders. Post the migration this role will own future strategy and roadmap for source to pay applications aligning and collaborating with DT and functional partners within indirect sourcing to achieve common goals. Additionally this role will bring in operational stability and continuous improvement of Operational Support processes. This role is responsible for ensuring the application are secure and compliant.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Coordinate multiple interdependent tasks and projects forming into one or more programs related to Sourcing to pay application migration to GE Aerospace

Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.

Act as single point of contact for all technology enhancements between business and Vendors

Proactively identify and resolve issues and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes.

Lead cross-discipline teams to establish an integrated plan to deliver team commitments.

Establishes governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence.

Tracks and monitors program status and metrics to ensure milestones are met, and internal and external delivery commitments are met.

Drive adherence to IT Compliance standards (SOX, ISO) by minimizing exception processes and creating streamlined or automated solutions for gaps.

Establish and foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time.

Manage client & vendor problem resolution and escalation.

Complete root cause analysis of defects and implement controls to mitigate repetitive issues.

Ensures ongoing communication of progress against program objectives.

Provide strategic oversight and drive team optimization and individual team member growth.

Work in a matrix environment coordinating with other teams to manage shared responsibility model, as applicable.

Be accountable and responsible for managing a “managed services contract” with vendor partners keeping up with terms of contract, SLAs and deliverables.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

For roles outside USA:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with significant experience.

For roles in USA:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience8years

Desired Characteristics:

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities

  • Minimum 8+ years of Experience in Oracle Enterprise Applications (ERP/EBS) R12.2.8 and onwards.

  • Techno-Functional expertise in Procure To Pay, Contract and Sourcing, Financials (AP/CM/GL) modules.

  • Good understanding and knowledge of middleware tools such as Globalscape, Informatica, Apigee, Rest APIs and various integration designs and build methods.

  • Strong experience in designing and architecting custom web applications, managing commercial off-the-shelf software solutions such as Appworx/Automic, RightFax, PPM/PVCS.

  • Operational knowledge about Web and app servers (Apache/Tomcat/Weblogic), UI/UX tech stack (Angular/Bootstrap), J2EE advanced concepts and backend database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server)

  • Clear understanding of DataLake solutions and Analytics/dashboard technologies (Spotfire/Tableau etc)

  • Expertise in DevOps tools and platforms such as GitHub, Jenkins and CICD pipelines.

  • Strong experience in change management, release management and ITIL framework.

  • Working knowledge about cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure and PaaS/SaaS services.

  • Experienced in design, performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure

  • Demonstrated understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (e.g., Green belt certified)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage team/product operations across the product ecosystem and make trade offs based on key business priorities
