About the Job:
This position is a Senior Specialist Cyber Security, who supports the SPI Data Protection program in the Data Protection Assurance organization within Cyber Security Organization.
Experience Level: 8+ years
Location: Hyderabad or Bengaluru
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for DB connection management, executing scanning policies, scanning of applications, validating scans, troubleshooting scans, reviewing findings
Connect and query to application database, false positive analysis, finalize analysis for quality assurance, create and deliver summary of findings and analysis, generate necessary DBA level of reporting
Environment upkeep (DB tasks, server connections, etc.), Generation of change management/support tickets, perform upgrades.
Primary / Mandatory skills:
Overall – 8+ years of IT experience
6+ years of experience in Application and Platform Architecture.
4+ years of cyber security Experience in identifying secrets.
2+ years of Spirion Sensitive Data Management system.
Results analysis, and troubleshooting, DevOps practices.
Ability to work with data from several diverse database technologies including Oracle, SQL, Snowflake, DB2, PostGres, MySQL,
Proven Application Scanning Skillset
General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and/or Gold)
Basic Cloud security knowledge for Azure and AWS
Database connectivity experience.
Proven experience in Vulnerability scan result analysis.
Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking.
BS of Computer Science and/or Information Systems
Technical Skills: Spirion SDM, SDLC, Database Administration understanding, Information Lifecycle, Database management tools etc.,
Additional information (if any): Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours upon need.
Certification : CSSLP, CISSP or equivalent
