Productivity Engineering is a team at LinkedIn that builds products that power LinkedIn’s business. We drive technology vision, architecture, and design systems that help the company deliver major business processes (talent acquisitions, sales, finance, and customer support etc.). We deliver applications and products that let our customers do business with us in a seamless way, help grow our top line, and increase our efficiency.

As a part of the Talent Productivity Engineering team, you will be building out custom web solutions and integrations that LinkedIn employees don’t just use, but love. This is an innovative team working with various parties involved in the candidate and employee journeys. Our work directly impacts the way LinkedIn hires, develops, and engages the best talent across the globe.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll play a vital role at LinkedIn in continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform for our organization. Manage, maintain SFDC org, Collaborate with Business stakeholders, prepare RFC, convert business requirements into technical designs, develop Solutions, test and deploy them.

Responsibilities:

-> Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce.

-> Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements,

-> Custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components,

-> Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization,

-> Design and develop AI based solutions and agents using einstein AI and Agentforce.

-> Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development,

-> Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code,

-> Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Apttus, CPQ, Conga, etc],

-> Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business,

-> Develop Proactive monitoring using Event Monitoring and features.

-> Test and Deploy solutions using CI/CD pipelines.

-> Implement and troubleshoot Salesforce CPQ and Apttus solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

-> Experience in Salesforce platform, Salescloud, and at least 10+ years of Salesforce development experience,

-> Experience in developing LWC, Aura Components, Apex Triggers, Classes, VF Pages.

-> Experience in SFDC Configurations

-> Background in integration solutions such as Dell Boomi, HDFS or other 3rd Party systems

-> Experience in Salesforce CPQ and /Or Apttus

-> Experience with VSCode, Salesforce Lightning Design System

-> Experience with, various IT application development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall and blended models), and software engineering concepts

-> Experience in implementing async apex.

-> Data Migration experience

-> Experience on implementing Salesforce Mobile pages/apps

-> Experience in Enstein AI features like Prediction Builder, Next Best Actions, GenAi

-> Experience in configuring event monitoring reports and dashboards.

-> Eager to learn new tech stacks and contribute in a fast pacing environment.

-> Able to work independently as an IC

-> Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members,

-> Certified Salesforce PD1, Application Architect, Admin, AI specialist

-> Good interpersonal and communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

-> Additional Salesforce certifications e.g., Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Other architect certifications

-> Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience.
