Amazon Pay provides more than 300 million Amazon customers with the familiar, seamless Amazon payment experience anywhere they shop, and enables online businesses to grow their sales and reduce costs with trusted Amazon payment technology.

Core acceptance team at Amazon Pay India is seeking an experienced product manager to own the Amazon Pay UPI platform. Amazon Pay UPI is Amazon Pay's proprietary payment product where we enable our customers to create Amazon pay UPI handle, link their bank account and use it for any payment on Amazon or at any external online/ offline merchants. You will be leading the UPI platform to ensure optimal performance (Success rate, Latency, up time etc), work with industry leaders to innovate and prioritize new features for our customers and merchants, Drive adoption among customers and merchants. This is a central role with exceptional leadership visibility and opportunity to make huge impact.

You will be working closely with external partners, internal product owners, UX design, engineering, finance, marketing, legal, and business analysts to drive the program with the right balance of external vs. internal customer obsession in mind. As a Sr. Product Manager of Amazon Pay team, you will own large product and tech launches. As a member of the team's leadership you will lead and contribute to org planning and periodic review narratives.

We expect the Sr Product Manager has a deep understanding of our product, priorities and business customers segments and needs, and can translate multiple inputs and data into a requirement, and communicate clearly to tech and business counter parts. The successful candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and navigating cross-functional stakeholders, with strong attention to detail, and who strives in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities

  1. You are responsible for defining and driving our product roadmaps. Select the most promising ideas, prioritize them and create a cohesive roadmap. You will also evangelize new features to our clients, working to accelerate their adoption, track the impacts, and communicate results with senior leaders.

  2. Write and deliver business requirement documents and artifacts required to enable the team's development of products, features and infrastructure.

  3. Maintain and continuously prioritize backlog and roadmap based on data and customers' needs

  4. Write narratives to advocate for and justify product launches / changes

  5. Plan and define the long-term vision of your product areas of ownership

  6. Build and improve a working relationship with your partners and stakeholders

  7. Contribute to and develop the team's processes/mechanisms

  8. Regularly participate in stand-ups, design reviews and other meetings with engineers, and contribute to the discussion to ensure a high quality bar.

  9. Lead cross-functional teams as the PM partner to deliver projects on time.

  10. Conduct business and financial analysis; be fluent in speaking to and analyzing profit and loss statement drivers, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.

  11. This is a highly visible position. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives and align your roadmap with Amazon’s strategic objectives. Excellent written, verbal communication and data analytical skills are a necessity.
