Oracle Sr Principal Software Developer in BENGALURU, India
Job Description
As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff (IC5) in our team, you’ll be responsible for, and lead efforts in, designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient system, software components and services to support our health care platform and the users it serves. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a technical leader on the team, you will own the complete software development lifecycle, from architecture, design, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.
Java development experience is required. Other recommended tools and technologies may include Rest APIs, Maven, Jenkins, JAX-RS/Jersey, OAuth/OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML/SAML2 among others. Hands on Java developer with in-depth knowledge on JVM internals and performance tuning. Experience with design of RDBMS and NoSQL databases, with profound knowledge of concepts and application is required.
Demonstrated understanding of cloud native architecture and experience with either AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is desired. Strong foundational knowledge on AI/ML model development and application is required.

Accountable for broad software architecture, design, code quality and architecture/technology decisions
Lead and direct architecture discussions, design sessions and code reviews for functional correctness, architectural maintainability, and performance.
Develop long-term technical roadmap for solution area, with ability to balance between meeting business needs/timelines, cost factors and architectural/technical scale.
Code for high-risk projects that have solution dependencies within and outside current team.
Analyze, understand and develop complex architectures, design and associated sub-systems.
Ability to understand someone else’s complex code very quickly
Ability to multi-task and deal with changing priorities.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as Development leads, Product Management, Operations, Release Management to make, adopt and communicate technical decisions and shape the development and delivery of software.
