GE Aerospace Sr Enterprise Application Engineer in Bengaluru, India

Job Description Summary

This role will be responsible to work on highly complex projects in the space of Oracle ASCP and S&OP that require in-depth domain knowledge in supply chain planning process. Will work across multiple technical and functional areas.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Engineer and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex supply planning business problems

  • Evaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration using Oracle ASCP, eBS and Cloud S&OP module

  • Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using PL/SQL procedures and packages, Unix Shell Scripts, Oracle forms, Oracle OAF

  • Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality. Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions.

  • Partner with Aerospace's supply planning business team and other functional teams in Supply Chain to understand business problems, define requirements, perform development and testing in multiple instances, conduct UAT

  • Attend CAB processes and meetings to migrate enhancements to PROD. Monitor programs, interfaces using APPWORX chains and create new ones

  • Develop technical documents like CF250/MD200/BR100 and collaborate/guide other development team members

  • Knowledge of Oracle ASCP is a must. Knowledge of other Oracle eBS modules like Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, BOM, WIP etc. desired. Knowledge of APPworx, Oracle fusion supply chain planning and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.

  • Contribute to the development of project and data delivery platforms with reusable components across teams that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.

  • Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across the product portfolio or product line.

  • Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Review and/or analyze and develop architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.

  • Participates in the enterprise architecture domain governance model.

  • Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • Minimum Experience of 8-10 years of implementation & development experience

  • Sound knowledge in Oracle ASCP module implementation – features, functionalities, configuration, front and back end technical details

  • Experience in other VCP product suites desired – Demantra, APCC, Cloud SaaS Demand/Supply/S&OP planning

  • Experience in driving implementation of VCP and SCM modules – ASCP, Demantra, Cloud SaaS, other eBS modules

  • Experienced professional who has a broad understanding of the solutions, industry best practices and multiple business processes within the Oracle Supply Chain domain

  • Experience in Agile Project Management Methodology
