Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Specialist Vendor Maintenance in Bengaluru, India

The Specialist Vendor Maintenance will support the planning and execution of Vendor Maintenance continuous operations applying the Supplier Approval Process and Portal technology. The role will handle the integrity of the vendor master data system of record for suppliers across all Regeneron entities globally. The Specialist Vendor Maintenance is responsible for processing existing and new supplier approval workflow requests and updating/maintaining supplier onboarding records, reviewing supplier contact details, partnering with Suppliers to educate on and assist with accessing our portal, assessing D&B reports and assisting partners with initiating ABAC, InfoSec, and other risk assessments as required every day. The role works closely with Global Procurement Teams, A/P, Treasury, Tax, and Auditors to ensure compliance to all required rules, regulations, and policy.

In this role typical day might include performing the following:

  • Perform system of record (Oracle, Zycus, etc.) entry & troubleshooting for new vendor set up, changes to existing vendor information, deactivate vendors, and attach documents to vendor file within Oracle and/or SharePoint with a high level of accuracy avoiding errors and duplications.

  • Document storage and retention of all forms, certificates, correspondence, etc.

  • Uses communication skills to exchange information and bring up procurement-related issues; self-starter; takes direction from others but also works well independently and anticipates the needs of procurement staff to provide detailed support.

  • Works with Vendor maintenance, procurement teams, suppliers, and business requestors to collect required information and approvals and ensures suppliers accurately input the required information into the supplier portal. Examples include, but are not limited to supplier tax forms, updated business contacts information, and vendor change notices resulting from legal entity merges, changes, etc.

  • Conducts special projects related to Supplier Onboarding as assigned.

  • Builds and maintains regular reports and niche documentation as required; researches and provides information in response to requests from leadership.

This job might be for you if you:

  • 2-5 years of related vendor maintenance experience within Procurement, AP, Accounting, or similar financial administrative role.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Oracle preferred, Zycus preferred.

  • Familiarity and experience working in an ERP system (SAP/Oracle/etc)

  • Basic digital literacy Excel, SharePoint, and other related tools and technologies.

  • Performs job duties under supervision.

  • Basic knowledge of the procure to pay process and procedures.

  • Must have analytical and problem solving skills and must pay close attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Requires basic relationship leadership skills as this role interacts with internal and external partners and suppliers.

  • Well-developed skills in communicating process steps and interacting with other team members.

  • Implements procurement-related projects and tasks based on specific instructions with limited discretion

  • Detail orientated and an ability to follow procedures and structured workflow system guides.

  • Experience in using analytical skills to tackle problems
