Job Description
What we do
Our group is focused on developing a leading Smart Cloud platform for our customers in project-intensive industries. Our products serve as a Cloud based digital collaboration platform for supporting Document Management, Design Coordination, Jobsite Mobility, Project Controls and Project Analytics. We leverage an agile development methodology (Scrum) to facilitate the development of our products. Our development practices include empowered Scrum teams, continuous build and integration, regular sprint reviews, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineering leader, you will be responsible for
Owning Enterprise class Cloud Native SaaS product development end-to-end and leading a team of 10-15 members
Re-imagining architectural roadmap for microservices based platform and evangelize technical decisions
Defining product vision and roadmap in close collaboration with Product Strategy & Customer Interfacing groups
Managing Cloud product releases, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as – Product Strategy, User Experience, Technical Support, and Cloud Engineering & Operations Teams
Championing agile methodologies and latest development techniques and Institutionalizing tools and processes, in order to plan, execute and deliver quality product releases
Building and sustaining product engineering team(s) - Hire and develop top talents, continuously improve team efficiency and productivity
Key Skills
As Senior Engineering leader with Product development organization, the expectations from the role would be:
Proven expertise in building applications with robust architecture, design and development of multi-tenant SaaS products, focusing on high scalability, availability and extensibility
Demonstrated ability to lead complex and strategic initiatives and interact with globally distributed engineering, product, operations and senior leadership teams
Possess distinctive problem solving and analysis skills with impeccable business judgment.
Be a strategic thinker, with the ability to inherently grasp the nuances of the business and can drive decisions with Senior Management and Product strategy
Understand & enable which technology to use to solve a problem and how systems and applications can be put together for better output, efficiency & experience.
Wide experience in hiring, developing, upskilling and mentoring a strong team of engineers, architects and managers
Experiences & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience of product development, ideally targeted to the Enterprise customers involving cloud native, multi-tenant SaaS based solution
Wide knowledge of modern technology stack, including (but not limited to) -
Java, JavaScript, React, Microservices technologies, Oracle DB, Kafka, Message Queues, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Docker/Kubernetes, Public Cloud Infrastructure
Good knowledge of Linux environment would be a plus
Experience with fully automated CI/CD pipeline – Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet
Good working knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, Fitnesse, Karate
A good academic background with B.E/ B.Tech. degree from a reputed Engineering Institute
