Oracle Software Developer 2 in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

  • ETL and Server-Side Development: Ability to write ETL process automation using Python and server-side code for web and cloud-based applications.

  • Integration and Development: Code, integrate, and operationalize both open and closed-source data ecosystem components for Oracle Cloud services.

  • Software Design and Troubleshooting: Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, etc.

  • Technical Familiarity: Knowledge of containerized applications, cloud networking, storage, and security. Familiarity with Linux, virtualization, and public clouds such as AWS and OCI.

  • Prototyping and Application Development: Create prototypes and develop robust production-grade applications. Adopt test-driven development and lead refactoring to classic and modern patterns.

  • RESTful Services and API Design: Hands-on experience with RESTful services and API design is essential. Knowledge of reactive microservices architecture is also required.

  • Agile Experience: Participate in Agile Scrum and have experience working with agile teams on applications built with microservices and event-based architectures for hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environments.

  • CI/CD and DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines/tools. Knowledge of DevOps practices is a plus.

  • Technology Skill s: Proficiency in Python, Java, Oracle APEX, Linux, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes and OCI/AWS

  • UI Technologies: Hands-on knowledge of UI technologies including JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, REAC and CSS.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
