Google Silicon Design Verification Engineer in Bengaluru, India
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience with verification methodologies and languages such as Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and SystemVerilog.
Experience developing and maintaining verification testbenches, test cases, and test environments.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
Expertise in different verification techniques and methodologies including, GLS, UVM and C based testing, etc. to achieve bug-free Silicon in complex SoCs.
Experience in UPF based power simulation.

Create reusable verification components and testbench infrastructure. Design and implement stimulus generators, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards to achieve high coverage goals.
Utilize scripting languages (Python, Perl) for automation and analysis. Analyze simulation failures and debug complex design issues at the silicon level.
Develop regression tests to ensure the stability of the design.Maintain expertise in advanced verification methodologies (formal verification, assertion-based verification).
Utilize simulation tools (VCS, Questa), debug environments (Verdi), and coverage analysis tools. Generate detailed verification reports summarizing test results, coverage metrics, and bug tracking.
