Job Title: Senior Systems Specialist - Global Payroll Operations
Department: Payroll – GPO Organization
Position reports to: Global Senior Systems Manager and PMO - Global Payroll Operations
Reporting positions: None

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Manages the data security, security training, supplier security assessments and liaison with Oracle Information Security Team.
Is the global coordinator for any security related matters and works closely with direct manager to address security matters and liaise with concerned groups within Oracle to develop solutions.
Administers the banking systems user and access profiles.
Manages and leads implementation projects in line with the Global Payroll Operations guidelines and objectives.
Manages and prioritizes system enhancements projects.
Assists direct manager with the global banking profile set ups for of the banking users.
Ensures deadlines are being met by monitoring information gathering and issue resolution.
Is a good team player, sharing his/her experiences and offering constructive feedback, whenever needed.
Effectively communicates project progress to management and escalates issues in a timely manner.
Works with regional payroll managers on project schedules and resource requirements to ensure that projects can be executed on time and within budget.
Identifies areas where the projects team can assist the operations team and propose solutions for improvements.
Identifies system automation improvements, discusses with direct manager for possible implementation.
Updates and log new projects in project tracking software.
Manages and leads conference calls in a professional manner.
Understands, acknowledges and operates within the department policies and procedures.
Undertake other tasks attributed by the direct manager in line with the departmental guidelines.
Replicates Payroll best practices across countries within the department and ensure that process documentation is continuously updated.
Abilities and Qualifications of the Senior Systems Specialist :
Possessing an undergraduate degree in any discipline, preferably in finance or related fields;
Good fluency in English;
Excellent excel skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to maintain professionalism under all circumstances;
Ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships;
Organized and extremely detail – oriented;
Result driven and ability to solve problems;
Ability to manage multiple projects,, prioritize and handle many requests, operating under tight deadlines and in a rapidly changing environment;
Must have sound judgement and business acumen;
Must be able to work independently;
Possess strong analytical and organizational skills;
Flexibility in work schedule, including availability during early mornings and evenings;
Ability to maintain the pace of deliveries despite tight deadlines and demanding environment;
Possess strong negotiation skills; and,
Must have good presentation skills and able to manage conference calls in a professional manner.
Experience:
3-4 years of total experience, with3 years of payroll experience
Experience with system implementations and with IT teams
Experience with data security requirements
