Wells Fargo Senior Software Engineer in Bengaluru, India

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Overall 5+ years of experience as a developer/engineer in HCM/HR systems.

  • Should have at least 5+ years of strong hands-on experience working as Workday Technical developer with hands-on on Workday Time & Absence / Workday Payroll.

  • Experience in Integrations - EIB's, Core Connectors, Studio, Reporting - Report Writer, Advanced Reporting.

  • Experience working and developing application using Workday Time&Absence / Workday Payroll

Job Expectations:

  • Experience in creating/modifying Business Process Eligibility rules, steps

  • Analyze business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign HCM solutions

  • Develops original and/or complex code.

  • Experience in understanding business/process, reviewing the user stories/requirements, development, testing.

  • Knowledge on HCM Modules including Core HR, Time&Absence, Payroll, Benefits.

  • Should have strong Techno-Functional experience in any of these modules - Core HR, Time&Absence, Payroll, Benefits.

  • Proven experience in relational database technologies and familiarity with DB design.

  • Understands the usability and accessibility aspects

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must

  • Work on the practice development activities.

  • Experience working in Agile teams, knowledge of Scrum construct and be part of all agile/scrum ceremonies
