THE OPPORTUNITY:

As our Senior Platform Engineer for Meeting and Real-Time-Communications Infrastructure you are expected to have advanced technical knowledge of MS Teams/ Microsoft Teams Rooms (neat, Logitech, Crestron and Cisco MTR certified Devices and their Device Managing Platforms) services, MS Teams Calling, Cisco Unified Communications Platforms. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the daily operations and administration of Meeting and Real-Time Communications Platforms and infrastructure.

You will also manage, maintain, and optimize the Meeting and Real-Time Communications environment to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the global Meeting and Real-Time Communications Infrastructure and ensure connectivity and configuration to meet business requirements.

  • Managing of the global Service Provide

  • ITSM Incident, Request and Change Management tracking and escalation contact.

  • Monitor system health and performance and make recommendations for configuration improvements to optimize Meeting and Real-Time Communications usage.

Your tasks in detail:

Senior AV and UC Engineer

  • Ensure audiovisual, multimedia, and computing systems are operational.

  • Manage Audio and Video licenses, subscriptions, and users across the organization.

  • Provide technical level 3 support to end-users and resolve any issues related to Audio Video services.

  • Monitor audiovisual, multimedia, and computing systems to ensure operational readiness, diagnose performance issues and notify the client of performance deficiencies.

  • Provide support that falls outside of the scope or outside of normal working hours when requested and as needed.

ITSM Incident, Request, and Change Management:

  • Manage and respond to Meeting and Real Time Communications incidents and service requests using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes.

  • Collaborate with the ITSM team to prioritize and manage Meeting and Real Time Communications changes to minimize business disruptions and ensure compliance with established change management policies.

  • Develop and maintain Meeting and Real Time Communications incident, request, and change management processes and documentation.

  • Ensure timely resolution of Meeting and Real Time Communications incidents and service requests to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and minimize impact on end-users.

Meeting and Real Time Communications Best Practices:

  • Develop and document standards and procedures for Meeting and Real Time Communications administration and maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, best practices, and configuration guidelines.

  • Implement changes to the Meeting and Real Time Communications environment according to ITIL framework, independently to mission-critical functional areas while following established designs and configurations already developed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of O365 and Cisco Unified Communications requirements and features.

  • Knowledge of Enterprise, Solution, Platform, and Data Architecture Standards.

  • Knowledge of ITSM incident, request, and change management processes and tools.

  • Experience with designing, developing, and testing Audio and Video services and systems.

  • Experience with Cisco Control Hub, Cisco UCM Cloud, MS Teams Calling and MTR Devices, Zoom and Webex.

  • Ability to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to read and follow AV system signal flow diagrams.

  • Ability to deploy Audio and Video best practices and governance.
