Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the Imaging Platform HUE Capabilities software team as a functional leader.
Hire the best talent to support the HUE roadmap, drive the solid execution control to achieve the planned releases with great quality and reliable software and groom the team members for their professional growth
Own and drive the strategic roadmap for the HUE set of components by driving brainstorming discussions with all the stake holders and work towards completing the PoC to help business make right decisions
Own the performance management and prioritization for all the team members and help them achieve at their highest potential
Innovatively utilize the budget to drive team goals
Help integrate the HUE set of SW components in SBUs on a regular basis and drive the HUE set of milestones on time with high quality and integrity
Typically a 1st line manager of professionals. Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Math or related field
A minimum of 15+ years of professional experience (include technical skill) .
Required Qualifications:
This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Software Engineering.
15+ years of overall experience and specifically 3+ years of experience in leading software teams as a functional leader.
Hands on experience in Java full stack software development (Java springboot with microservices and Angular) in the healthcare domain.
Has ability to design, code and influence the design of complex software projects in the SAFe / agile environment for multiple scrum teams
Has experience in managing multiple stake holders globally
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
