About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant.
In this role, you will:
Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Wells Fargo’s Structured Products Group (“SPG”), part of the Markets division in CIB, provides direct structured lending in addition to the underwriting and distribution of asset-backed securities for clients who access the bond markets through securitizations. The India SPG team works as an extension of the global SPG team across a broad range of asset classes and covering large domestic and international clients including Corporates, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Mortgage and Real Estate finance and investment funds.
The Business Execution role is part of SPG’s COO team and involves initiatives ranging from data management, credit administration, change management, control/risk management, reporting at senior management / regulator level to driving transformation/efficiency projects across SPG. The successful candidate will work closely with SPG’s global team members located in Bangalore and the U.S. The role involves significant opportunities to learn, develop and work as an integral member of the business
Maintain control inventory including up-to-date control descriptions, ratings, procedure links and provide SME level inputs
Track and confirm with SHRP (Shared Risk Platform) change requests with the center of excellence
Coordinate EBCE (Evidence-Based Control Evaluation) and other ad-hoc audit engagements including collecting & testing artifacts, uploading artefacts to SharePoint, tracking change requests, and coordinating with the SMEs for walkthroughs
Coordinate other ad-hoc audit engagements including collecting testing artifacts, uploading artifacts to SharePoint, tracking CRs, tracking progress etc.
Control monitoring activities will include, but not limited to:
Quarterly: Anti-Tying, Deal File Checklist, Record to Apply Jointly, Daily DNT QFC Scrub
Annually: Medallion Stamp, Notary and Affiant
Issues management and tracking items including coordinating with the COOs and control on monthly issue updates
Prepare periodic updates (standard reporting on the above)
Maintaining workflow trackers & random checks primarily w.r.t. tracking controls and verifying the implementation of controls
Responsibilities may include developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with various teams to establish effective control frameworks.
Work on other and related governance matters like periodic reviews, change management matters, access reviews etc.
Self-starter with strong project management and process orientation skills. Should be adaptable towards change management as the process evolves.
Regularly liaise with other teams on business priorities especially SPG Business Execution and COO team w.r.t data management and other US-based COO activities
Experience in in a business execution role, project management or related COO function with experience in control or risk management vertical preferred
Experience in banking/captive environment with knowledge of asset-backed finance/securitization would be a plus
Technical skillset in audit, compliance or governance preferred
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written as well as interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly & concisely speak, write and comprehend complex topics
Good attention to detail with strong organization and project management skills
Self-starter with ability to work independently and pro-actively with minimal supervision/follow-up
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and highly-regulated production environment and juggle a variety of tasks (time management skills are important)
Must be flexible to work in partial US shift as per business requirements
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Advanced knowledge of excel and other tech skills like PowerBI know-how would be a plus.
