About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Principal Software Engineer for our growing team in Bengaluru. Our cloud-first SaaS platform is built using Distributed Microservices Architecture, on Linux, Java, Vertx, Oracle, MySQL, Angular/React/APEX. we use RabbitMQ as our messaging backbone and NoSQL databases like Redis We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. At over one million lines of code, you’ll be working with large, highly-trafficked, scalable applications. Quality and high availability is of extreme importance to us, so we're looking for a professional engineer that takes a pragmatic and passionate approach to technology to solve problems and keeps the application uptime high.
About You
Have a B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Have 10+ years of professional experience in developing robust adaptive UI & large scale web applications, REST APIs.
Have in-depth knowledge of both OO programming and procedural programming and understand when to use which.
Experience with both scripting and compiled languages.
Experience with OO languages like Java, JS6 etc.
Have serious UI & API development skills.
Excellent knowledge of vanilla JavaScript (ES6) or Typescript with libraries or frameworks such as React, AngularJS, etc
Experience in developing highly responsive UIs, Interaction design, developing & customizing UI widgets, integration with cloud services for end to end functionality.
Refined taste for design to help facilitate the discussion between the UI/UX design team and backend development team.
Proficiency with web standards and accessibility compliance.
Understand unit testing, integration testing and overall software quality.
Experience working with RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, etc.
Experience with Git.
Bonus Points
Experience working on distributed systems.
Experience working on Helidon.
Experience in APEX/ RAPID / OJET
Experience working with NoSQL databases like Redis, DynamoDB, etc.
Experience working on public cloud offerings like OCI / Azure / AWS or GCP.

Responsibilities
Design and develop high-performing, scalable, and fault tolerant web applications/microservices.
Design and architect major software components, systems, and features and present it to the Lead Engineers.
Must have full stack development experience
Design and develop flexibile, robust, responsive UI SDKs.
Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.
Navigate legacy code bases; refactoring, by applying design patterns, best practices.
Lead a Scrum team for Sprint Planning/Grooming/Daily Standups.
Ready to mentor and train other junior team members on design techniques, and coding standards.
