Oracle Principal Member Technical Staff - DBRU Testing in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Job Description: * Minimum 3 years of experience in IT industry from QA background with hands on experience in automation, test development, testing and bug analysis. background * Creating/Testing automated/manual QA for MLR testing of database patchsets

Technical: * Experience on Regression testing using Automation tools / running the regressions manually and able to analyse/classify/debug failures based on Results * PL-SQL, Perl. * Familiar with at least one programming language C, Java and programming on Windows platforms. * Experience in automation scripts / tools, Python, Perl, jenkins, jira, selenium or any other automation tool * Able to test, debug, validate doc, report issues and follow through to resolution * Able to understand / modify / debug test suits * Record process steps, define/capture metrics, reduce cycle time and help improve product quality * Able to identify process improvement and automation opportunities and implement them * * Understands Oracle Products and product architecture (desirable) * Must have done Oracle Product installation independently (Desirable) * Able to diagnose the issues/problems in less time and guide other team members Soft Skills: * An attitude to automate repeating tasks and work discipline * Should be a good in written and verbal communication * Should be a good team player, mature and able to work across cross functional teams Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
