Oracle Principal Member of Technical Staff in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) provides an end-to-end revenue management system for communications service providers. BRM system includes comprehensive management of payments, collections, invoicing, account receivables, taxation, general ledger integration, and reporting.

As a Principal Member of Technical Staff , you are required to,

  • Design and Develop Industry standard, high performant, and scalable REST Services for Oracle Monetization BRM Application.

  • Must have 8 + years of strong java api (oops/design patterns) development experience.

  • Working knowledge of Open Digital Architecture (ODA) and Event Driven Architecture (EDA) is essential.

  • Should be familiar with Cloud Native and On-Premises application development - Complete SDLC

  • The microservices based development, testing and container-based deployments are desirable.

  • In depth knowledge on API design, development, tooling, and standards

  • Good understanding of application and api security – Authentication and Authorization (OAuth/OIDC/SAML/SCIM/SSO/Federation/JIT/IDP/ISP)

  • Exposure the Oracle Helidon and OKE based Development will be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of TMF Standards for REST Open API’s will be a plus.

  • Oracle Monetization Solution exposure – Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) Domain knowledge will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

As a Principal Member of Technical Staff , you are required to,

  • Drive innovative software solutions, architecture, and design discussions.

  • Effectively work with other development functions- Product Management, Release, Performance, Documentation etc.

  • Participate and lead cross-team and cross functional initiatives.

  • Adopt industry best practices and corporate standards.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to the team.
