Google Physical Design Engineer, Silicon in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in Physical Design.

  • Experience in synthesis, PnR, sign-off convergence including Static timing analysis (STA), PDN, electrical checks, and physical verification.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience in power optimization techniques.

  • Experience in low power methodology and design flow.

  • Experience in full-chip floorplanning, place and route, and IP integration.

  • Develop all aspects of ASIC RTL2GDS register transfer level to graphic data stream and implementation for high PPA designs.

  • Define and implement innovative schemes to improve performance and power.

  • Take ownership of one or more physical design partitions or top level.

  • Drive to the closure of timing and power consumption of the design.

  • Contribute to physical design methodologies and automation scripts for various implementation steps.
