Operations span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.

The PWM Middle Office team within the Trade & Settlement space is primarily responsible for setting up journal codes facilitating dividend & interest sweep between capital and income accounts, Class action research requests, Validating and distributing class action claims to eligible clients, Handling client queries and Communication. These functions form an integral part of our business by working to identify solutions that balance the business, client and regulatory needs.

Private Wealth Management (PWM) Operations supports Private Wealth Management, which is responsible for advising wealthy individuals on strategies to build and protect their financial assets through highly customized advice and service. PWM Operations is instrumental in meeting our clients' needs and is responsible for the development, service delivery and control of global private banking; proprietary and open architecture alternative investment vehicles; derivatives trading; bookkeeping, accounting, performance measurement and reporting of Goldman-custodied assets and away-custodied assets; multiple externally managed account platforms; and multiple custody services.



  • Engage in active interaction with PWM Sales, Compliance, Controllers, Legal and other Operations teams to deliver strategic solutions for Middle Office functions

  • Leverage Analytical skills, Creative problem Solving and Project Management skills to uplift existing processes

  • Manage relationships with professionals from other teams and divisions by articulating recommendations in order to gain cross-divisional consensus

  • Periodic review of standard operating procedures to analyze open risks within the processes

  • Carrying out quality review and allocating work with class action research, payment processing and journal transactions on day-to-day processing activities

  • Apply sound judgement to manage risk and protect our client’s investments with the firm

  • Ability to lead a team by motivating and providing guidance to team members with day-to-day processes.


  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree (Preferred: Master’s degree of Finance, Business or Commerce)

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Must be motivated and hard working

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, personalities, and broad based coverage

  • Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and adaptability to other software products

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Good PC skills – MS Office


  • Knowledge of investment management industry is a plus

  • Business Intelligence experience & relevant certifications (Tableau/ Alteryx) are preferred
